Kaye Frataccia is the former Program Manager for Empower Porter County’s Around the Table. She is also serves as a Valpo Parks Foundation Board member. She Co-Chaired the Valplayso community build park project. She was a Valparaiso Community Schools Spanish teacher for 24 years and served in a variety of community leadership roles including Porter County United Way Board Chair and Campaign Co-Chair, President of Tri-Kappa Valparaiso, Don Quijote Foundation Chair, and Housing Opportunities Board member. She has received numerous service awards including the United Way Dorothy M. Porter Award for Service to the Community, Valpo Kiwanis Club Volunteer of the Year, and Porter County Community Foundation Volunteer of the Year. Kaye and her husband Ric have two sons and three grandchildren.
Shannon Franko, Secretary, is a resident of Valparaiso and has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry, currently working at 1st Source Bank in Valparaiso. She became involved with the Memorial Opera House in 2016. As a resident of downtown Valparaiso, preserving the historical value and integrity of the building encouraged her to join the board and become involved with the current restoration project through community development and fundraising. Shannon received her BA from Purdue University and completed the ABA’s Graduate School of Banking program. She resides in Valparaiso with her two children, Jake and Sydney.
Paul Kohlhoff is the current Treasurer of the Memorial Opera House Foundation and has served on the Board of Directors since 2015. His volunteer work on behalf of the Foundation stems from his interest in historic buildings and his appreciation of the performing arts. Paul retired from Valparaiso University in 2017 where he was the director of the Tax Clinic at the School of Law for 15 years. Prior to this, Paul was an attorney in private practice in Valparaiso. He has held various positions with several non-profit organizations including the Shirley Heinze Land Trust, the Indian Nature Conservancy, and the Woodland Savanna Land Conservancy, and he is currently on the board of directors for Lakeshore PAWS.
Jackie is excited to be involved once again with the Memorial Opera House. She served as the theatre’s Managing Director from 1996-2002. A fifth generation Valparaiso resident she is also connected to MOH through her great grandfather James Jackson Gray, who was a member of the local Chaplin Brown Post of the GAR, the organization that built the Opera House in 1893. Currently Jackie is self-employed as a designer and owner of Jaclyn Gray Design, where she creates one of a kind purses and sells them at art shows and similar events throughout the Midwest.
