Happy Holidays! We have a special event coming up in December and are thrilled to share it with you all. The LimeLights are back at it again with their Christmas Charity and this year is bigger than ever. They are teaming up with the Memorial Opera House Foundation and many of their loyal volunteers to bring a warmhearted and entertaining family friendly performance on top of a few fun little additions.
The fun begins at 12 pm. There will be treats, including a $15.00 Cookie Walk, and a cash bar with a couple festive drinks (both child and adult). Now, we can’t forget to mention the silent auction! Treat yourself or finish shopping for Christmas by bidding on some of our silent auction items that have been generously donated by our devoted volunteers and generous local businesses.
The performance starts at 1 pm and tickets for the show are $20.00. The LimeLights students are teaming up with talented local actors to bring the audience into a classroom of kids preparing for holiday pageant. You’ll get a glimpse into the life of a very stressed out choir teacher, the homes of some very relatable family units, and join in a child’s excitement for this beautiful time of year.
All donations will be split between The Hilltop House and Memorial Opera House Foundation to assist in the future expansion of our beautiful facility! We hope to see you there.
Celebrate the Summer of Love in the middle of winter!

Our 125-year old building sprang to life in 1893, and continues to serve its original purpose to this day: to be a gathering place for the community.
Our guests can attend a Broadway quality musical or play, a concert, a cabaret, or any of the wonderful programs presented by our Youth
Theatre, The LimeLights.
Our Partnerships in the community help us to continue to provide all the benefits of a premier regional arts center located in Porter County, Indiana, and serving all of Northwest Indiana.
Our partners include not only resident acts and dining associates, but sponsors, donors, restoration experts, and local government agencies as well.
Dedicated as a memorial to veterans of all wars, our building continues to serve its original purpose as a gathering place for the community.
We believe in the preservation and growth of this living memorial, and we use theatre and the arts to build our community and create a sense of belonging.
Our performers and performances are what set us apart from other community theatres, and why we are one of the premier arts venues in
Porter County and the greater Northwest Indiana region.
As one of the premier arts venues in Northwest Indiana, we offer four Broadway quality musicals and one play each season.
